FAQs

Commonly Asked Questions

Where are you based?

I am based in Frankton, Queenstown. Contact me for address details.

I don’t live in Queenstown. Do you work online?

Yes, absolutely.

How many sessions do I need?

Session numbers can vary depending on what challenges you may be facing, however I am always transparent about what I think is needed to help you achieve your goals. This is something we discuss together based on what you need, with you always in the driver’s seat when it comes to re-booking.

What’s your policy on confidentiality?

All sessions are strictly private and confidential. However, sometimes there are some limits to this. If I am concerned about a person’s safety (yours or someone else’s), my duty of care as a health professional requires me to always act in a way that ensures people’s safety. Sometimes this means disclosing enough information to other health professionals to enable them to keep people safe.

Do you have a Code of Ethics?

Yes, as a Registered Social Worker, I am bound by a professional code of ethics.

I’m feeling unsafe, what should I do?

In an emergency where someone’s physical safety is at risk, dial 111.
